Mark Down Basics

This post provides quick reference to most widely used R Mark Down syntaxMarkdown allows you to write using an easy-to-read, easy-to-write plain text format, which then converts to valid HTML for viewing on GitHub.

Prerequisites: Create a file with .Rmd extension. For example Mymarkdown.Rmd

Creating .Rmd files:

For practice of R Markdown you can try out following ways to create .Rmd file and view the result immediately.

1.Rstudio:Try this link   http://shiny.rstudio.com/articles/rmd-integration.html

2. GitHub: For those who have Github Account .

Create a repository and then add a new file in it with .Rmd extension and practice(write and preview).
